Went to Eggspectation with very high expectations, and they rose to the occasion! First of all I want to say Logan was phenomenal. He was our server and he was on top of everything and serve things as we wanted them. We wanted to slow things down a little bit. He was responsive. We ordered the duck confit poutine first. The duck was cooked perfectly very tasty not dry at all. They had the perfect amount of cheese and gravy on the top. The french fries were crispy, which I adore. The second thing that we had was the smoked salmon crostini. It is fabulous. The Cristini was not overly cooked. It still had a little bit of softness to it, which was a nice complement with the lemon cream cheese and the salmon. It also had purple onion, cucumber, and capers. It was a perfect amount to share between two people. Our final thing that we chose was the oyster sliders, which was part of their happy hour menu. They were very crispy and light. They had a nice coleslaw on top of them, which really complemented the oysters and the brioche bread was very nice as well. I had a glass of the federalist Cabernet and my husband had a glass of Elijah Craig. Both of them were a great addition to the entire meal. I have to say it was a wonderful way to end our week. We will definitely come back again the interior of the restaurant I would say Art Nouveau very comfortable seating. We were at a high top table. There's also plenty of bar seating as well as low tables. The lighting was very complementary and nothing was too loud that you couldn't hear what the person across from you were saying. The only thing that was a little concerning was the number of menus that they had. My experience is keep the menu relatively small and do your very best. We had a few items and they were all awesome and if they can make everything on every menu that good they will do fantastic things.

Let me just say if you need a good laugh along with great customer service... Diana is your girl ! She was amazing , we had a party of 13 including 5 kids , the AC was barely working during that time in the establishment & she accommodated us with all requests. The food/ drinks/ atmosphere was also amazing & we will be back .

I came here with a friend for brunch on a Saturday around 11. The wait time for a table was only ten minutes but we decided to sit at the bar. We had a Valencia orange tequila drink and a mimosa; they were both pretty good. The tequila drink tasted mostly like orange juice. My friend had the shrimp and crab omelette and said it was pretty good and I had the shrimp and crab Benedict. It tasted very good but could've used a little salt - no big deal. The portion sizes were also pretty good for the prices. The service could have been better. The bartender didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu and we also had to wave him down a couple times to take our orders. There was also a leak over the last seat at the bar that none of the staff acknowledged or tried to clean up. They just watched people sit there, have water drip on them and watch them get up to find another seat. Overall it was a pretty okay experience. I would go back but I would probably wait for a table next time instead of eating at the bar.

This place was really good. I really like the ambiance, and the food was tasty. The drinks were well made also. The vibe here is really nice, so expect this place to be busy. With that said, there wasn't a long wait, and we got seated in a fair amount of time. This is a great place for a group or just you and your sweetie. I could definitely come back.

Last Sunday my family and I had a chance to check out Eggspectation, the new breakfast sensation in Ballantyne. I previously attempted to visit twice, but the wait list was too long. This time I prepared in advance, put our name on the waitlist an hour early, and was seated upon arrival. Go me. Everything was delicious. The menu had a nice selection of options. We stuck with safe, tried-and-true meals and none of them disappointed. The shrimp and grits are cajun-style. The potatoes were great, and the cheese grits were so good. The service was also fantastic. Our waitress had tons of tables but she was very attentive and prompt. Side note: It was lively and jammed packed. I stopped by the ladies room once and the line was outside of the door. I'm sure this isn't the case 24-7, but it was when I went so be prepared!

I wanted something great to eat and decided to try Eggspectation with my sister. This was both our first time and OMG!!!! I tried the Shrimp and Crab omelette. I promise I can eat one every single day it was amazing! It also had pesto and onions. It came with fried potatoes and they were perfectly fried. My Sis had the Lamb and eggs with potatoes and the lamb was perfectly cooked, best lamb I've ever tried. The service was fine and the ambience was low key. There was not a wait and the caramel latte was great! Overall, we had a great experience and I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Eggspectation offered a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing breakfast experience. The restaurant's modern decor, comfortable seating, and warm lighting created a welcoming environment. The staff provided excellent service. From being greeted with a smile to the attentiveness of the servers ensuring that my experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. One of the standout dishes at Eggspectation is the Avocado Toast Eggs Benedict, which combines the creamy richness of avocado with perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise sauce on toasted bread. Overall experience, fantastic breakfast spot that offers not only delicious food but also exceptional service and ambiance.

We had a great first experience at Eggspectation! The environment is light and airy with dark paint making everything really pop - and tons of greenery! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options where most of the outdoor seating is covered. They have a very nice bar as well. They serve their daytime and nighttime menus all day and have some great food and drink happy hour options! We tried the huevos rancheros and the avocado toast Benedict which were both incredible! I can't wait to go back and get the huevos rancheros again - the tortillas were made from scratch and absolutely incredible. We also got the mimosa flight which was so fun! Our server, Margo, was so friendly and very helpful with the menu! Bathrooms were extremely clean and the women's bathroom had a nice pull down changing table. There isn't a ton of parking right in front of the restaurant but several spots on the side and an entire free parking deck behind! Don't let the name fool you, they have incredible lunch and dinner options!
